Noted for its gorgeous spring blooms and brilliant autumn colour, Spiraea prunifolia is an upright, clumping, deciduous shrub with graceful arching branches. In early to mid spring, a profusion of double white flowers held in clusters of 3 to 6 blossoms appear along naked branches. The small, shiny, dark green foliage warms up to attractive shades of red, orange, and yellow in autumn. Very cold and dry hardy.
